Migration guide
Switching from Wholesale Suite
Wholesale roles become customer groups and per-role prices become price rules — read directly from where they are stored, with a preview before anything is written.
Four steps
- 1
Install B2B Suite (free)
Alongside your current setup. Your storefront is untouched until you import.
- 2
Open Settings → Import
The importer finds your registered wholesale roles and the wholesale prices stored against your products.
- 3
Review the preview
It lists the groups and price rules it would create, and warns about anything it cannot map.
- 4
Run it, then verify
Check a product with the Price Explainer, then browse the shop as one of your wholesale customers.
What carries over
| In Wholesale Suite | In B2B Suite | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Registered wholesale roles | Customer groups | One group per role, keeping the role’s name. |
| Users in a wholesale role | Group members | Assigned to the group created from their role. |
| Per-role wholesale price on a product | Fixed-price product rule | The absolute wholesale price becomes a fixed price rule for that group and product. |
| Variation wholesale prices | Fixed-price rules per variation | Handled the same way as simple products. |
One thing to know about the model
Prices move off the product
A per-role price stored on each product becomes a rule in B2B Suite’s own tables. That is what lets you later say “20% off this whole category for this group” instead of editing every product — and it is why pricing stays fast as the catalogue grows.
Your product data is left alone
The importer reads the existing wholesale prices and never deletes or rewrites them. If you reactivate Wholesale Suite, they are still there.
Features you may be replacing at the same time
Order forms, minimum-order rules, lead capture and role management are separate purchases in some setups. In B2B Suite the bulk order form, quantity rules and trade registration are all in the free plugin, and company accounts, net terms and quoting are all in the single Pro tier — so it is worth checking what you currently pay for before you rebuild it.

The importer ships in the free plugin. Run it against a staging copy and see your own roles and prices mapped before you commit.
